While most of the cultural requirements are the same as normal sweet corn, there are a few minor variations. Since the triple sweet corn seeds are small and shrunken, plant shallower than usual, roughly 1-2.5cm (1/2"-1") deep. Triple sweet seed must absorb twice as much water as other types of sweet corn to germinate.
It is very important to avoid planting in dry soil. Keep the soil evenly watered during the germination period. Irrigation is essential, if your intention is to merchandise the crop. We do not recommend growing triple sweet corn without irrigation.
