Compact, low spreading plants produce a white carpet of bloom through late spring and early summer. The flowers are so profuse, even the rich green foliage is almost hidden. Candytuft is an evergreen perennial in milder winter areas and will become woody with age with individual plants growing15-30 cm (6-12") tall and 25-40 cm (10-16") wide. We suggest shearing immediately after flowering to promote compactness. Shearing will also improve bloom density the following spring. Hardy to Zone 3 (when sheltered).
