Heirloom Vegetable. Dark green leaves have a long white stalk and possess a mild onion flavour. Great for salads, soups, stews and garnishes.
How to Grow
Start seed indoors in a soil-less growing medium anytime in January through February. For larger bunches, transplant into cold frames in late March. Make sure transplants are gradually hardened off before planting outside. Plant the larger seedlings into the garden in April through May. Alternately sow seed directly into the garden in April for smaller bunches.
