NEW for 2019! Variety originated in Hungary. Thick walled sweet peppers with a touch of heat. Fruits are 2.5-5 cm (1-2”) in diameter starting white before turning orange then bright red when fully ripe. Eat fresh or dry and grind for your own spice.
How to Grow
Start seeds indoors in a sterile medium 10-12 weeks before plant out time. Grow seedlings under bright light at 21°C (70°F). Harden off and transplant in late May.
Planting Depth: 6 mm (1/4”). Seed Spacing: 6 cm (2.5”). Thin to: 35 cm (14”). Row Width: 60 cm (24”).
COMMENTS: Harvest fruit red if drying for grinding. Keep soil evenly watered. Avoid high nitrogen fertilizers.
