Yellow Beans (Bush and Pole Types)

Yellow beans are a type of beans that have been raised to have less pigment in their skin, giving them their particular colour. They are an excellent choice for your garden, offering many of the same benefits of other bean types. They are capable of producing good yields with relatively little space and minimum effort from gardeners.

While there are minor taste differences between yellow beans and other varieties, the main advantage to growing yellow beans is the signature colour, which suits certain types of dishes. As with most beans, they are best planted in light, organic, and well-drained soil that has warmed to at least 16 C (60 F) and should be watered regularly as they start to flower.
