Daisies, particularly the iconic Shasta Daisy, are the definition of a timeless garden staple. With their crisp, white petals surrounding a bright yellow centre, they evoke a sense of nostalgic, sun-drenched simplicity. These sturdy perennials add a clean, classic structure to borders and provide a reliable, refreshing look that pairs beautifully with almost any other plant.

Growing: Thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers rich, well-draining soil. They are highly adaptable and appreciate regular watering, especially during the peak of summer, to keep the foliage lush.
Sowing (Important Care): Surface sow the seeds and press them firmly into the medium, as they require light to germinate. It is critical not to let the seeds dry out—maintain consistent, steady moisture throughout the germination phase. Keep the environment warm (20–22°C) to ensure successful, uniform sprouting.
Care: Low maintenance. Deadhead spent blooms regularly to encourage a second flush of flowers and to keep the plants looking tidy. Divide the clumps every few years in early spring to maintain plant vigour.
