Carrot Seeds

If you are interested in trying to grow some root vegetables, there is no better place to start than the classic carrot. While most people will picture the traditional orange carrot, these vegetables exist in a rainbow of different colours, including white, yellow, red, and purple.

Different carrot varieties require different soil and growing conditions to thrive, so make sure you pick the right type of carrot seeds for your garden. In general, carrots prefer to be planted in loose, deep, and rock-free soil, although some varieties can handle shallower or heavier soil. Carrot seeds are best planted in rows for easy weeding and will typically take 70-80 days to mature.

If you want to start growing carrots in your garden or on your patio, we are proud to offer a wide selection of high quality carrot seeds in the most common varieties, including Nantes, Imperator, Danvers, and Chantenay. We also offer a selection of organic carrot seeds and seeds in more unusual colours.
