  • Growing Essentials: Thrives in deep, loose, well-drained soil. Sow seeds 1–2 cm deep, spaced 5–10 cm apart in rows 30–45 cm apart. Start in early spring as soon as the soil is workable, and again in mid-summer for a fall harvest.

  • Succession Sowing: To ensure a continuous supply throughout the season, sow new seeds every two to three weeks.

  • Thinning: Thinning is key to large root development; use your thinnings as delicious baby salad greens.
