What you need to know to Plant & Grow

Sow seeds in a sunny spot when the soil temperature consistently reaches 18-20°C or warmer, and all danger of frost has passed. Planting in colder soil can cause the seeds to rot quickly.

Planting: For best results, dig well-rotted manure or compost into the soil before planting. Sow 6 seeds per hill at a depth of 2 cm. Thin to 4 vines per hill once the seedlings are established. Space your hills 150 cm apart.

Care: Keep the soil evenly moist throughout the season. Harvest your fruit continually to help promote continued production and a steady supply of cucumbers.

Why Calypso Cucumber Seeds belong in Your Garden

If you want a fast and reliable pickling cucumber, Calypso is an excellent choice. Its quick maturity and gynoecious nature ensure a high yield in a short amount of time. Its good disease resistance and uniform fruit make for a consistent, low-maintenance crop that is perfect for a summer of pickling.
