What you need to know to Plant & Grow
Kuroda carrots thrive in a sunny site with well-prepared, light soil.
Planting: Sow seeds 6 mm deep and 6 mm apart after the soil temperature rises above 7.5°C. Rows should be spaced 50 cm apart. Germination can take from 14-21 days, so be patient and keep the seedbeds evenly moist during this period. Avoid soil crusting, as this will greatly reduce the number of emerging seedlings.
Care: Thin the seedlings to a final spacing of 5 cm to give each plant room to grow. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers.
