What you need to know to Plant & Grow
For the best results, Michihli is a long-season crop that is best grown late summer into fall.
Planting: Sow seed indoors in a soil-less mix 5 weeks before last frost date. Sow seeds 6 mm deep and keep at 20°C for the 7-10 day germination period. Grow on at a slightly cooler temperature, then harden off and plant outside in late May. Note that spring to summer crops will not form dense heads. For best results, sow seeds in mid-summer for fall harvests.
Care: Space plants 45 cm apart in rows with the rows 75 cm apart. The optimum growing conditions are cool days (12-21°C) with cool to cold nights (4-10°C).
