Amsterdam Leaf Celery prefers cool weather and consistent moisture.
Planting: Sow seeds indoors in a sterile growing medium 4-6 weeks before your last frost date, or sow directly outdoors in mid-May as long as the weather is cool (10-15°C). Sow seeds 6 mm deep and 2.5 cm apart.
Care: Once established, thin plants to a final spacing of 20 cm, with 50 cm between rows. Keep the soil evenly watered and provide some afternoon shade in hot summer areas. Leaves can be used both fresh and dried to add their distinct flavour to your dishes.
