Description

Earlichamp Cantaloupe/Melon Seeds 1405. Hybrid.

Approximately 10 seeds per packet (35 seeds per gram)

Replacing a classic as our earliest orange-fleshed cantaloupe, Earlichamp Hybrid Cantaloupe sets a new standard for quality. This variety boasts a great-tasting, lusciously thick flesh, an intoxicating aroma, and a very high Brix (sugar) content. With excellent disease resistance and a large fruit size averaging 2-3 kg, this is a high-performance choice for a sweet and flavourful harvest.

Quick Seed Details

  • Type: Hybrid Cantaloupe/Melon

What you need to know to Plant & Grow

For best results, select a south-facing, wind-sheltered site for your melons.

Planting: Sow 5 seeds 2.5 cm deep per hill. Space hills 1.5-2 m apart. Once seedlings are established, thin to 3 to 4 plants per hill. In short-season areas, start seeds indoors in peat or paper pots 4 weeks before your planned transplant date. Seeds need a warm soil to germinate properly; do not sow into soil cooler than 21°C. Germination occurs in 8-12 days.

Care: A packet of hybrid melon contains 10 seeds, enough for 2 hills. Keep the melon vines evenly watered throughout the growing season.

Why Earlichamp Hybrid Cantaloupe Seeds belong in Your Garden

The Earlichamp Cantaloupe is an ideal choice for gardeners who want a high-quality, early harvest. Its superior taste, intoxicating aroma, and high sugar content make it a truly premium melon. The excellent disease resistance ensures a reliable crop, and the impressive fruit size means you’ll have plenty of delicious cantaloupe to enjoy.
