What you need to know to Plant & Grow Giant Red Mustard
- When to Plant: Sow seeds in a sunny area with moist, fertile, and well-drained soil in successive crops every two weeks from late April to early June. You can sow again from late August to mid-September for a continuous harvest as long as the weather remains cool.
- How to Plant: Sow seeds 1.25 cm deep and 2.5 cm apart in rows spaced 45-60 cm apart.
- Care: Thin plants to 20-25 cm apart in the row once they are established. This green offers its best flavour and texture when grown in cool weather.
