Bush Bean Seeds

🫘 Productive and Easy-to-Grow Bush Beans

The compact bush bean is an excellent choice for any garden. Most bush beans are stringless or snap beans that can be eaten straight in the pod, available in green-podded and yellow-podded wax varieties. These plants yield good harvests and require minimal effort. They are well-suited for Canadian climate zones and are hardy enough to thrive in a range of conditions.

  • Growing Conditions: Best grown in light, organic, and well-drained soil that has warmed to at least 16°C. We recommend planting later in the spring.

  • Cultivation Tips: Plant in evenly spaced rows at regular intervals to ensure a longer harvest. Provide even watering as plants start to flower and pod production begins.

  • Variety Selection: We offer a wide selection of common varieties, including Blue Lake, Contender, Golden Wax, Slenderette, Royal Burgundy, and more.
