Golden Acre Cabbage is a short-season variety that is best started indoors to ensure a successful, early harvest.
Planting: Sow seed indoors in a soil-less mix 5 weeks before your last frost date. Sow seeds 6 mm deep and keep at 20°C for the 7-10 day germination period. Grow on at a slightly cooler temperature, then harden off and plant outside in late May.
Care: Space plants 45 cm apart in rows with the rows 75 cm apart. This variety’s tolerance for closer spacing makes it an excellent choice for smaller gardens.
