What you need to know to Plant & Grow
For a successful crop, start seeds indoors for a head start on the season.
Planting: Sow seed indoors in a soil-less mix 4-5 weeks before your normal last frost date. Sow seeds 6 mm deep and keep at 21°C for the 7-10 day germination period. Grow on at slightly cooler temperatures, then harden off and transplant outside to a sunny area in late May.
Care: Space plants 75 cm apart in the row with rows 75 cm apart. This will give the large, strong plants the room they need to produce their heavy yield.
