Aimers Butterfly Jumbo Wildflower Seed Mixture 3041 Entice butterflies and hummingbirds to your property with this high quality, irresistible mix of self seeding annual and hardy perennial flowers. Varieties have been specifically selected for season long colour, high nectar content and attractive colours. Container will sow 20 sq. m. (200 sq. ft.). Annuals: White Alyssum, African Daisy, Blue Bachelor Buttons, Calendula, Plains Coreopsis, Sensation Cosmos, Scarlet Flax, Double Mix Gaillardia, Linaria, California Poppy. Perennials: Butterfly Weed, Candytuft, Catchfly, Columbine, Prairie Coneflower, Purple Coneflower, Lance-leaved Coreopsis, Blue Flax, Siberian Wallflower. Approximate average garden height of 60 cm. This foil packet contains 20 g (33%) seed mixture and 40 g (67%) corn meal seed carrier.
How to Grow
Select a sunny site, remove all weeds and lightly work the soil to a depth of 2.5 cm (1″). Shake the container well before use then evenly distribute the mixture over the prepared seed bed. Lightly rake the seeds into the soil then tamp down or roll the seeded area. Keep the seed bed evenly watered through the 2-4 week germination period. Keep in mind that some of the perennials may not flower in their first year of growth. The carrier for the seed mix in the tube is corn meal.
