Grandiflora Dwarf Bedding Petunia (Petunia x hybrida) is our most popular and economical multi-colour mixture, designed specifically for budget-friendly mass plantings and large garden beds. Featuring compact, dwarf-statured plants that reach 15 to 25 cm in height, this open-pollinated selection produces an abundance of classic grandiflora blooms in a cheerful blend of bright pinks, purples, reds, whites, and bi-colours. What you need to know to Plant & Grow
Petunia seeds are extremely fine and require surface light and warm soil temperatures to germinate successfully before being planted outdoors.

Indoor Sowing (Recommended): Start seeds indoors in a sterile soil-less mix 6 to 8 weeks before your last expected spring frost. Surface sow seeds directly on top of the growing medium—leave uncovered, as light is necessary for germination.

Germination & Growing On: Apply bottom heat to maintain a medium temperature of 25°C throughout the 14-day germination period (cooler temperatures will extend germination time). Once germinated, move seedlings under lights at a cooler temperature of 15°C.
