Flower Seed: Perennials and Biennials

Perennial flowers can be easily grown from seed, with some flowering the first year from early sowings. These beauties flower year after year and multiply easily. Division of plants is recommended every three to four years.

Direct fall sowing in the spot where you want plants to bloom is also successful. Biennial flowers typically do not flower the first year but spend their time growing a healthy root base. They come into bloom the second year.
