What you need to know to Plant & Grow
Nicotiana seeds are extremely fine and require surface light and warm temperatures for successful germination.

Indoor Sowing (Recommended): Start seeds indoors 6 weeks before your last expected spring frost. Surface sow seeds on top of a sterile soil-less mix—do not cover, as light is necessary for germination. Use a fine mister to water softly without disturbing the tiny seeds.

Germination & Growing On: Maintain a medium temperature of 24°C for the 15-day germination period. Once sprouted, move seedlings under grow lights at 17°C, gradually increasing the temperature to 23°C as plants mature.

Direct Sowing: Sow outdoors directly in mid to late May into finely pulverized, enriched soil once spring temperatures have warmed.
